The University of Rwanda (UR) Huye campus successfully conducted a two-day blood donation initiative from December 9 to 10, 2025, attracting a large number of students eager to contribute to a life-saving cause.
The event, held at the campus Gymnasium, saw a continuous flow of students throughout both days, demonstrating remarkable generosity and a strong commitment to helping those in need.
Health professionals present at the initiative expressed gratitude for the students’ active participation, emphasizing that each blood donation plays a critical role in supporting patients requiring transfusions in hospitals.
